Elli Grapp

Regional Training Director- egrapp@duluthymca.org

Elli Grapp (she, her) earned her BA from Iowa State University in Political Science and French and went on to complete her MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University in Washington, DC. While her studies were international in scope, they served to make her more passionate about making a difference in the types of communities in which she was raised. Elli’s career has seen her in a variety of nonprofits, ranging from a small start-up to university settings, and her Y journey began in 2019 at the YMCA of Greater Omaha. She is passionate about the Y’s commitment to strengthening community and the movement’s growth towards being truly “for all.” On a more personal note, Elli is excited to have her son growing up in the Y (currently attending a Y daycare and swim lessons) and loves the family atmosphere that the Y does such an exceptional job at creating. As Regional Training Director, Elli is excited to support the leadership and career development of similarly passionate Y staff across the region.
